He is also annoyed when he does something, whether or not it is something he is happy with, and his friends say, "You are just like Tim, when you do that." Or "Who are you, Daniel?" He dislikes being told this because it seems as if his friends are saying, "You are being unpredictable." Though, if he were Tim or Daniel, what he did would be, instead, predictable.
He does not like being told he is being predictable or unpredictable. But his friends seem to be telling him that when he does something he would do, it is boring, and that when he does something someone else would do, it is interesting. He has decided, out of annoyance, to stop telling his friends about the things he does, so that they cannot say these things to him. However, he does not know whether this is something that they will say is like him or like someone else, whether they will find it predictable or interesting.
